Art

Our mountain is brimming with talent, and designer Miguel Torres, is a local artist who creates one-of-a-kind clothing with a blend of new fabric and vintage pieces.  The Miguel Torres Studio can be found at 31976 Hilltop Blvd(opens in new tab). in Running Springs and his shop features unique styles with distinctive looks made here in the USA.  His up-cycled, handcrafted clothing is imaginative with unexpected fabric combinations. Miguel's pieces are like wearable art where customers can showcase creative expression. Browse through his shop, and you will also find unique accessories that are sure to be conversation pieces.
Torres also offers sewing classes and pattern making.  Interestingly, you can bring your own clothes to personalize and decorate with patches and paint.  Miguel has over twenty years in the fashion industry and is as captivating and expressive as his designs.  Don't miss out on this hidden gem right here in our community!

PRIDE PAINT PARTY

Thank you, Karen, for hosting the Pride Panty Party!  What a fabulous time!

The food spread was absolutely magnificent, but even better was having the chance to sit, relax, chat, laugh, and get to know you wonderful ladies.

Yolanda hand-cut all those hearts—which was definitely no easy task! And Melissa was our big winner with her amazing ’80s-inspired painting.

And then, upon our departure, we had one last crazy mountain moment… a BIG bear at the car!  Thankfully, nothing my car alarm couldn’t handle!

What a fun, creative, delicious, and unforgettable evening. Can’t wait for the next one!

Thank you Kathleen
for lending your creativity and generous spirit to making the Operation Provider donation boxes. When I called for help, you didn’t hesitate — you simply said yes and brought your artistic touch and heart to the project. Your willingness to give your time and talent made such a difference, and we are deeply grateful.

I’m an author, freelance illustrator, and painter basedup in the San Bernardino Mountains. Ten years ago after personal tragedy and a career as an educator I began to paint consistently and seriously as a form of therapy and to sell my artwork in galleries, online, and at local shows and fairs.

Kathleen G made the paper showing off her sign art at the May Big Bear protest. Kathleen's talents also expand to rock art and as you can see below she decorates her yard and garden with positive, colorful and meaningful energy. Soon Kathleen will be creating rock art for the club! Guess you can say she is a real ROCKSTAR!

This person was painting the scene at the Big Bear protest. Guess who she was painting......(Larry F)
