The Mountain Bears Democratic Club is an organization dedicated to fostering political engagement and community involvement among residents in mountainous regions. This club serves as a platform for like-minded individuals who support Democratic values and policies, providing opportunities for members to unite by purpose and hope, organize events, and participate in local and national campaigns. By hosting meetings, forums, and social gatherings, the Mountain Bears Democratic Club aims to encourage informed voting and active participation in the democratic process. Through collaboration and education, the club seeks to promote civic awareness and advocate for policies that reflect the needs and values of its community.
Mountain Bears Democratic Club was founded in 2004. We are located in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California. We hope to do our part to inform and educate the public and bring newcomers to the party by registering new Democrats. The Democratic Party believes that the American Dream should be within the reach of all people. We welcome and encourage people from all walks of life to join us regardless of your political affiliations.

Our 2026 strategy:
- Listen- Roll out a truly nonpartisan survey that listens to the community and identifies the issues that matter most to them.
- Big tent- Building a winning coalition means opening our doors wider. We should move past purity tests and welcome those who share our core goals, even if we differ on specific details.
- Grow our membership- Together we are stronger. Many feel hopeless and bullied in this community. Let's be the place where they can find refuge and purpose.
- Trust- Continue our community involvement and build a positive reputation in society.
- Endorsement - Our Club’s credibility is reflected in every endorsement we make. We endorse qualified candidates we are proud to promote in our district, with a clear objective: to win.
- Local Democracy- Empowering citizens to elect local officials who manage public affairs, ensuring services are relevant, and fostering participation in decisions affecting daily life, operating under principles of accountability and subsidiarity.
- Good Trouble- Continue the fight by making our voices heard—through protest, writing, and visible civic engagement—demonstrating our unity and our shared commitment to democracy.
