Looking back at 2025:
The pursuit of happiness, love, friends, truth, integrity, learning from mistakes, pivot, embracing change, fighting for what is right, grace, listening, being bold.
Thank you all for joining us in this journey and sometimes nightmare called 2025. It has been a horrible year for our country but I can honestly say with all our new friends and fellow warriors it has also been an amazing year. Your passion and strength has been an inspiration.
To win the war we need to reinvent ourselves. We need to cut all the weights we have binded ourselves too. We need to sacrifice our personal agendas and actually listen to others’ needs. Actually embrace democracy for all by considering all.
Looking ahead for 2026-Let’s forge ahead, proceed with clarity, strategy and strength:
Our 2026 strategy:

Listen- Roll out a non partisan survey that we truly ask what the community priority is.

Big tent- We need to open ourselves up. Drop our democratic purity test. Accept others based on the overall goal rather than condemning them on the details.

Grow our membership- Together we are stronger. Many feel hopeless and bullied in this community. Let’s be the place where they can find refuge and purpose.

Trust- Let’s be the group that can compromise and look for what we have in common rather than draw a line in the sand. Continue our community involvement and build a positive reputation in society.

Local Democracy- With the knowledge of our surveys and our community concerns we identify the elected officials that are failing us. We support candidates that will put the needs of the community first.

Endorsement strategy- We promote candidates that will appeal to the majority. Drop the purity test and promote a winner.

Good Trouble- Continue the fight. Let our voices be heard. Protest, write and put ourselves out there to show our unity and passion for democracy.
I’m excited about 2026. If we learn from the past we can create a new future. We have everything in the works to start off the year running. Let’s keep evolving, listening, pivoting and fighting. Democracy and our country are worth fighting for.
