The following are a list of mostly online and social media organizations. Each has its own unique method and reason for existence. None are impartial, but all are liberal, at least. You should decide if their political philosophy matches yours before you add your name to their mailing list.
SumOfUs
“SumOfUs.org is a new world-wide movement for a better global economy. We’ve witnessed again and again what happens when powerful corporations get their way. We are SumOfUs.org, and we’re not going to take it anymore.”
Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee
“The political committee whose principal mission is to support Democratic House candidates every step of the way to victory.”
Working Families.org
“This is your chance to be a part of the political revolution! Hundreds of Working Families Party activists are hitting the campaign trail for Bernie Sanders. Come join us!”
Change.org
“It hosts sponsored campaigns for organizations. Nonprofits and political campaigns, including Amnesty International and the Humane Society, pay the site to host their petitions.”
Credoaction.com
“CREDO Action is the activism arm of CREDO, a social change organization that offers products — like CREDO Mobile — in order to fund grassroots activism and progressive nonprofit organizations.”
Leftaction.com
“A network of over 1,000,000 activists committed to making a difference, fighting for progressive causes, and… having some fun while doing it.”
A site that lists the amount of NRA contributions to the campaigns of elected officials. It can’t show how much was sent to the PACs they aren’t supposed to know about. It can’t show the inclination of the official to ‘pay back’ favors once in office.
